Rember a movie with a wolf named Scar Face?

I saw the movie in the 80's.
I think the wolf got shot in the face/eye and it's name was scar face
i think.
when ever the wolf is near this theam music come on like jaws.
the wolf stalked hunters and killed them. it was a great movie and
it's making me nutz.
can anyone tell me anything about it?
